A Different Kind of Support
SoulSeen is a senior companion and concierge service created to support older adults in their everyday lives. The goal is to provide companionship and assistance with small tasks like errands, organization, and light household support, helping daily life feel easier and more connected. SoulSeen is not a medical or caregiving service, but a reliable helping hand and friendly presence. Services are currently offered to residents of Washington State.
Small tasks may seem simple, but they play an important role in helping seniors maintain independence and quality of life. While physical needs may already be handled independently or through a caregiver, SoulSeen is designed to complement that support.
When caregivers are responsible for multiple residents or cannot be present at all times, meaningful social interaction can sometimes fall through the cracks. Even when they deeply care for their residents, their many responsibilities can limit the time available for one-on-one engagement. Even the most wonderful activity teams in senior living communities cannot always provide consistent one-on-one attention with every resident.
Many seniors quietly carry heavy emotions as they age. Loneliness is only one part of it. Some may be grieving the loss of a spouse or close friends, while others face fears surrounding declining health, independence, or the inability to enjoy activities they once loved. Losing mobility or the ability to drive can also mean losing a sense of community and connection. This is where SoulSeen steps in.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a Life Enhancement Specialist, where it was my responsibility to bring joy into seniors’ days through games, crafts, exercise, meals, events, and outings. What meant the most to me were the one-on-one moments: sitting with someone and listening to their stories, laughing about something silly, watching their favorite team on TV, or learning about the experiences and wisdom they carry. I also worked briefly as a caregiver, which gave me insight into the responsibilities caregivers carry and the deeply personal experiences seniors face as they adjust to changes in independence.
SoulSeen exists to bring meaningful connection, household support, and something to look forward to. I aim to be someone you or your loved one can rely on, checking in, offering companionship, and bridging gaps. For families who live far away, I can help maintain those connections so seniors continue to feel close and supported. Most importantly, I bring genuine presence and the time to truly listen, share stories, continue hobbies they enjoy, or help discover new interests along the way.
About Cenah
It is truly an honor to connect with you. Supporting seniors and their families is work that I care deeply about, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share a little about myself.
I was born and raised in Alaska and have spent the past nine years living throughout the West Coast, currently calling Camas, Washington home. I enjoy making art, spending time outdoors, dancing with friends, and continuing to grow and learn as a person. I bring a spiritual outlook into everything I do and always try to find the light in situations, even when things feel difficult.
My personality is naturally engaging, patient, and animated, which helps me connect easily with seniors, especially those experiencing memory changes or cognitive challenges. I approach every interaction with respect and authenticity. I am there as a companion and a friend, never to patronize or treat someone as less capable.
While I am professional in my work, I believe the best connections happen when conversations feel natural and genuine. I enjoy finding humor in everyday moments and occasionally sharing small updates from my own experiences, whether it is welcoming a new baby in the family, an interesting trip I recently took, or something amusing I saw around town. These simple moments help create real connection and give seniors the opportunity to share in joyful experiences as well.
One experience that meant a great deal to me was adopting the cat of a senior I had grown close to after she passed away. She loved that cat dearly, and giving it a home felt like a small way to continue supporting her, even after she was gone.
In addition to my work with seniors, I studied at the Interior Design Institute, where I earned my diploma. Designing spaces has always been something I feel deeply passionate about, and I realized I didn’t have to keep that separate from the work I love doing with seniors. Through my Home Harmony services, I’m able to bring my two passions together. I love helping organize and thoughtfully arrange environments so they feel calm, functional, and personal to the people living in them.
At my core, I feel deeply purpose driven in a spiritual sense. I believe my role is to bring joy, hope, and connection to people who may need it most.
My grandmother Sally means the absolute world to me and is truly my favorite person. Her kindness and love for our family shaped who I am today. I often get emotional thinking about how much richer my life has been because of her presence. She is one of the greatest inspirations behind my desire to work with seniors.
Please let me know how I can support you or someone you love.
